I took great consideration in developing my version of the classic dreadnought to make it my own and still retain much of its sought after traditional qualities and aesthetics. My version features a scalloped and forward shifted X-brace which are attached with hot-hide glue.

"I have spent some time looking for a piece of Mangeao which I consider to be one of the finest tone-woods in the world, (it is only found in the top half of the North Island of NZ). When I found it, I sent it David who dried it out before making me a slope-shouldered dreadnought to die for.
Gorgeous to the eye and to the ear - a real class instrument. Just love it!"
